Problem is trying to please everyone. For long people have been clamouring for vehicles, AOW, etc. Infantry-based play suffers in those instances...
Rough to be a game publisher these days. Always between a rock and a hard place.
Alethes Of course it's hard for developers to get the infantry vs vehicles balance right, but they seemed to have done a good job with ground vehicles vs infantry.
However in the case of the Little Bird there seems to be no balance at all. Splash damage of those rockets vs infantry is insane. I think the JF video demonstrates it perfectly. At 0:27 you literally hear him say "I didn't even try" when he kills a dude with em. It resembles my first experience with it where I see a red dot appear in world, I fire a barrage in it's direction and I get a kill with the 1st or 2nd rocket.
And it's not like we haven't been there before, BF2042 Night Bird also was stupidly OP, but at least AA was slightly better in that game.
Yes, you're fully right. Hopefully the stats and output are being monitored and something will be adjusted... I dislike infantry farming as much as anyone of course!
