There are plenty of other games that aim for realism, not Battlefield though.
Battlefield has never been realistic, nor strategic. It has always been a sandbox, where people find all sorts of silly ways to kill you.
Those "only in Battlefield" moments aren't ever about realism. They are about rendezooks, C4 buggies and tanks that are launched into the air as they shoot down a jet.
Perhaps that's not for you and that's fine, but you'll have a lot more fun if you find your own ways to be creative.
I just love how you can have someone dead to rights with an assault rifle, but they can jump and hop and somehow avoid getting hit but kill you
That's what tends to happen when the enemy uses movement to make themselves harder to hit, while you choose to remain mostly stationary. The enemy won because they took the initiative to fight for an advantage. Jumping is situational and it causes significant spread and sway penalties. If they despite of the penalties still managed to kill you first, then they successfully leveraged that advantage.
Many Battlefield games in the past had jump peeking, or dolphin diving or other jump related movement techniques. It's not new in Battlefield 6. If you expected a game where jumping drains your stamina bar and you're out of breath for 5 seconds, then Battlefield is not the game for you.
