Reducing bot XP isn’t a real fix to the problem.
Why did you decide to reduce bot XP? You could simply bring back the solo bot mode, strengthen moderation on portal servers, and re-review persistent servers. Right now, there are just too many empty servers taking up resources.
And even after cutting bot servers, the portal is still overcrowded. Personally, I still have to wait over 10 minutes just to get in.
I invited two friends to play this time. One of them prefers fighting bots — not to XP-farm, he just simply enjoys fighting bots. Now he can hardly level up his weapons at all. He’s blaming me for bringing him to Battlefield 6; I told him he could play however he liked before, but now that’s no longer possible. The portal issue needs fixing, but I hope you’ll take a more comprehensive approach when considering solutions.
No matter what, I believe you’ll find a better way to solve the issue of overcrowded portal servers. But at the very least, don’t hurt the interests of some players.
