How was it broken? It had two visible laser beams and only went off if you were sprinting....

those lasers were barely visible and they had an insanely broken actication range. even if you stopped 5 meters from it, it still was set off and you died immediately.
even if you got lucky and it bugged out and wasn't set off, by destroying it within 15 meters you still took 50 odd damage from it, so you were punished one way or the other.
It was a much needed nerf,.- Raansu863 months agoSeasoned Ace
The lasers have saved me dozens of times. I can count on one hand the amount of times I've been killed by a claymore and its always when I'm full on sprint and not paying attention.
The claymore didn't need a nerf, players needed to learn to pay attention more.

Insanely broken? How many times per match did you ever die to them? And clutches? If you mean crutches, are you saying engineer mines are crutches too? Do you even read yourself?

pre patch, multiple times per match, sometimes dozens, the claymore was a massive clutch and was massively overpowered and broken before.
As for the at mines it was fine and didn't needed to be dramatically nerfed as they despawned after death.now you need to learn how to play without the broken claymorees

No they don’t. You really don’t know much about this game, do you?
