Sniper limit per server

This game needs a limit of 3 to 5 snipers per team.
They don’t even help the team  they don’t use lasers for the vechiles. 
The only thing they know how to do is lie down somewhere in the middle of nowhere and wait for a kill.
They don’t help the Infantry they don’t do anything they’re the most useless ones. You could even lose a match because half the team is playing as snipers. I’m not sure if most of you here realize what a big problem snipers are in this game. That’s why there needs to be a limit, and only players who actually know how to play should use snipers not some newbies or people with slow reflexes who just sit in the server to make up the numbers. This is a serious issue in the game right now.

Breakthrough They just camp in the back, trying to farm kills, but 99% of them are so bad with the sniper that they do absolutely nothing. And when the infantry pushes, you lose the objective because they have more players than you at that critical moment

I'm 35 years old, I don't have slow reflexes, 2,078k/d, 7,758 kills, it's not my problem that you're not up for this game and you prefer to wait somewhere because your reflexes are like those of pensioners, you're not useful, you're in our way.

  • There's threads like these for every Battlefield game. It's not going to happen, it's that simple. Snipers are just part of the game.

    Putting a limit on snipers won’t fix the problem; it’ll just make life harder for the ones who actually play the role properly. A good recon isn’t just lying in a bush. They’re marking targets, helping disable armor by painting and spotting vehicles, clearing angles you can’t see while you’re rushing in and helping the team move up. 

    The problem isn’t the number of snipers; it’s the players who don’t know how to play the role and can’t hit their shots and you’ll find those in every class. I’ve got over 11,500 kills so far in total and sit around a 6.7 K/D and that’s after grinding through every weapon and almost every class challenge. The only thing I’ve got left is the engineer task with 6,000 repairs to go and i'm stuck  and struggling on that one its a hard to hit 3,000 never mind 6,000. The game’s just a lot smoother and easier to get kills now. in previous titles I sat around a 1.8–2.0 K/D. The issue isn’t the class needing a limit, it’s that most players are just grinding challenges or going for super long shots instead of playing aggressively and supporting the squad take the objective.

    Some of it might be the 'challenges', where it encorages you sitting back and 'sniping' from a distance.
    And the way the maps are in some games I found I've had to run to the back of the HQ spawn area just to try and just be over 150 m away from the action.. its crazy.

    But who’s telling you in the post that snipers are difficult, guys? Do you even read what I’m writing? 
    I’m explaining to you that it’s not normal for 10–15 out of 32 players team to be snipers and do nothing but mess around

    These players aren't being useless because they are using a sniper rifle. It's that useless players prefer sniper rifles because it allows them to stay far away from the action. That's a big difference. 

    Just because you limit snipers does not mean these players suddenly become useful. It's perfectly normal for the bottom of the scoreboard to consist of people that fail to even understand what game mode they are playing. 

  • The class that should be limited is the medic as its too OP. They shouldn't do that cause if COD players hog that role then the entire team is screwed.

    To be fair class balance sucks, recon boosts long range engament, sniper boost sniper rifles while spec ops boost stealth for Frontline engagement but the maps are small, spec ops loses  at least 50% efficiency before the match even starts based on its class alone. 

    Its not that all recon player want to but rather we are being forced to play long range on maps that are very tight which kills stealth, flanking, tactical play. The best thing to do its cut down enemies who manage to bypass the frontline so your back isn't exposed while trying to retain the objective already taken so the frontline can keep pushing.

    I personally try to move with the frontline to spot enemies and mark vehicles but that only works if you guys keep me alive as I'm exposed while using my gadgets. Laser designator gives away my position and Drone leave me wide open even if I hide (Tanks, helis, so on......). set tugs but they gets destroyed often as the beeping gives it away. So much for stealth class.

    Real issue is that the game promotes independent and fast play. Until they figure a way to properly balance it players will keep doing the same. Even if you limit recon players, nothing stops campers from giving sniper rifle to medic and keep trying. This game has more fundamental problem then just recon campers
