You have two hopes- Bob Hope and No Hope... and Bob's dead.
DICE claim they too busy to do maps, yet they literally have dozens of great maps to re-use, yet they don't seem to able to. Very, very, odd.

Grand Bazaar was amazing, still to this day I play Rush on the map.

RIP Bob Hope.
That would actually make sense. Guess I'll have to reinstall 3 if I want those classic maps.

Does 3 still have a decent population these days?

It's playable, but the player count has dropped drastically over the past 2 years.

None, I hope. Let them stick to new maps. Regurgitating the same crap over and over again is death of creativity.

Players have been writing from the very beginning, asking the developers to add classic maps from previous games in the series to make this title come alive.
But considering how reluctant and slow the new team is (four studios), there's no chance of any of this happening – they're reportedly working on one map, Golmud Railway, but knowing them, they'll make it a small map to hop around like rabbits.
The developers seem to have completely forgotten what distinguished Battlefield from other shooters...
On the other hand: If they gave the tools to modders, they would probably do the job faster and better than the entire EA department responsible for creating maps.

With the current layoffs by there is absolutely no chance we are going to get any great content moving forward.

VeteranOF3 I think bringing back some maps from older Battlefield games, especially from BF3, would actually be a great idea. BF3 had a lot of very good maps and most of them were well balanced and worked well with Battlefield’s gameplay.
I do think there is a chance we could see some remastered maps in future seasons. However, in my opinion it will probably be more likely around Season 4 or 5. The first few seasons were most likely already planned or even partially developed before the game released.
That could also explain why we haven’t seen much of what the community is asking for yet. I do believe Battlefield Studios are listening to player feedback, but things don’t happen overnight. Ideas have to be analyzed, decisions have to be made, and development takes time.
They probably didn’t expect the demand for remastered maps to be this strong, and some content for the early seasons may already have been in production before launch. It wouldn’t really make sense to scrap everything and start over.
So I think it will come eventually, but we need to be patient. After the first year we’ll probably have a much clearer idea of the direction and identity BF6 is going to take.
