Support 3 challenge Smoke Assists

So for the most part, this challenge has been the most frustrating because nowhere in the game is an example given on what a smoke assist even is or how to achieve it. 

You need to be throwing smoke grenades or use the smoke launcher. 

"Well, all I need to do is throw one at my own feet and get a kill?"

NO! You gotta throw smoke at your own teammates feet, blinding them, and pray to god they can manage to get the kill.

Oh, and do this 50 TIMES!

Dice, who are you paying that produced this half-witted slop?

I've played BF since Bad Company. I've completed all sorts of assignments in 3 and 4, but 6's challenges have been so abysmal that I can't even feel like I'm playing correctly that I have to go 2-24 in lobbies chasing around teammates pissing them off so I can primarily get the supply pouch so I can be a better teammate to give ammo out because the ammo/medkit box f***ing broken.

Whoever is involved with making these challenges, I hope they step barefooted on a full set of Lego.
