The reason behind me bringing up the defib is because of this. People don't charge up the defib because it takes long. Just a tap defib revives you with low hp which makes you very defenseless while you have to stand up from the ground. This needs fixing because 90% of the time you get defib revived you die instantly and it is useless. Also defib already taking a gadget slot it should be faster than just a drag revive. You could as well drag revive people if it takes the same time. Something has to be done about it. Either make faster or revive with 100 hp all the time to fix dying on the floor instantly. Or make the person being able to get up from the ground way faster after revived.
How to fix medic heal is this: The time auto regen kicks in for everyone is too long that is why every tryhard plays support to heal up fast. I mean if you fight someone and you down to 20 hp nobody wants to sit in a corner for 10 sec while the regen kicks in and if you start running around with low hp you will just get shot. Maybe make it faster for everybody to start the auto regen after you leave combat. I don't know. Just nerfing the support healing won't do anything because it will still be the go to choice. It wouldn't encourage supports to revive others. They don't play support to revive others to begin with.
Even if they change regen for other classes or something so it would not be this mandatory to play support then people would not play support so it would not fix the reviving issue. The other problem is nobody plays objective. They need to encourage ppl playing objective including revives.
Also the ttk is way too fast in the game which needs to be increased to fix many of these other issues.
