Tanks/Vehicles in Battlefield 6 just don’t feel Battlefield-worthy.
I’ve unlocked almost everything on day one, and honestly, the tank gameplay feels rushed and underdeveloped.
- Thermal vision: Taking away something that’s been part of Battlefield for years really hurts vehicle gameplay and awareness.
- Spawn Areas: Hardly working: On some maps tanks don’t spawn at all, or the spawn system just breaks completely.

- Projectile Intercept: Useless unless you somehow know ahead of time you’re about to get hit — doesn’t make sense in real combat situations.
- Optimized Handling: What even is this supposed to do? It just feels like a vague stat meant to “make tanks feel better.” Where they should have been in the first place. </3
- Field Maintenance: Will also gain ammo sooner and faster? LOL? happy you cleared that up. Did we just add tanks into this because you had too?
Tanks feel sluggish, turret rotation is painfully slow, and dealing with mines is basically “stare at the ground and pray your gunner spots them.”
The interface for editing loadouts is another step backward. In BF3/BF4 you could adjust everything from one window — now it’s just menus inside menus.
This is Battlefield, right? Then bring back the APCs, and don’t even get me started on the AA Gun — it’s just not fun to play at all. BF4 had 3-4 sets of missle for secndary. Why are we moving backwards???
Flying Heli also feel like it was creatived for Call of Duty players who don't know how to fly in older BF games. It used to mean something to master flying a helicopter. Now its a empty feeling just getting into one.
The game is fun for now, but unless vehicles gameplay gets serious attention, I’ll probably head back to Battlefield 4 where they actually feel worth mastering.
