I think about this a lot lol by the way did you chat gpt this?
But they make a lot of sense, I always said a lot of cheaters have similar characteristics. The one I see most is people who seem to be 'failing at life, low morals and self esteem. Creating gives them a sense of control and being good at something, despite them cheating. Even the ones who boast how good they are yet hiding that they cheat, which has always been insane to me.
In the you just have to feel sorry for them.
This anti cheat is already looking to be way better than Rico**bleep** and thats another reason to play this game in itself.

Thank you for the reply Spencer! I did not chat gpt this, even for research. This is something I too have thought about for along time because I see the question so often and the answer people give is one found to be unsatisfactory and which basically boils down to "these people are losers."
I posted this on a few places on reddit though and I got a few nice responses the vast majority were nasty responses calling it AI slop which really agitates me because if you post the question into any LLM bot you won't get the content I posted. None of the people who made the false accusations backed it up with any evidence and they faced no repercussions for their false accusations. For them, just because I have passable English skills and made a post longer than a paragraph it must be AI! It upsets me because most of the subs have rules against submitting "low effort" content and yet when I take the time to produce something in good faith it gets labelled by many as AI slop. It's so counter-productive too because if people are going to get accused of using AI regardless then they might as well just save themselves the trouble and use it which means less human produced content.
Anyway, sorry for the rant. I echo your feelings about the prevalence of the Low Esteem type. Everything is ultra competitive these days and everything is recorded and that pressure to perform can be insurmountable for some and they need something in their lives they can point to and say they're successful in even if the reality is that they are using cheats to achieve it. I indeed pity them as it is a crutch that makes them weaker in the long run.
Anticheat is always a hard thing to guage because if you say that you catch 300k cheaters that instinctively sounds great but how many cheaters got through? We'll never know and we can only speculate based on anecdotal experiences.
