Very IMPORTANT Question !

Please if someone from EA can respond to this, i really do need an answer and I don't know where else i can get it.

I saw a lot of posts here about accounts being banned without reasons, so i questioned myself, what is happening here, there are a lot of people trying hard to get at least an answer and nothing, this made me think of my future purchases which is an analog keyboard from Wooting ( already having trouble with FPS games like CS or OSU ) and the expected Superstrike mouse from Logitech.

I planned to buy this keyboard soon and also the mouse when it's released, i'm sure many here heard about wooting keyboards and how powerfull are they, is this a reason to get banned ?

So my question is: Using a wooting keyboard at all without configuring the much heard Rappy Snappy or Snappy Tappy, or with their software installed and using some of their features mentioned can get you banned from BF6 ? Please i need a detailed answer about this, maybe some of the guys here need this too, thanks.

Also the same thing for Logitech future mouse, the SUPERSTRIKE which will be using a similar concept as this keyboards instead of classical mechanical switches, where you can set the actuation point to be faster, etc.

  • I'm using a wooting 2 HE without issue.

But I don't use the advanced key stuff. I don't even use tachyon mode or rapid trigger. I have changed the actuation point of some keys though.

I wanted to use tachyon and rapid trigger , i know these aren't considered cheating in any game so far, only de SOCD have trouble with CS2 but Valo is allowing it so far.

I hope i can get more answers about this because i can't find any info reffering to this topic and i do not want to get banned or something without even knowing this is bannable. (Altho no one ban you in anygame , even valve only just kick you out and tell you to disable it)

While it might not be bannable in any game you know of I would argue that any game where you alter any input for speed should be approached with caution. I know CS doesn’t like it because it’s seen as an unfair advantage so I personally wouldn’t risk it if your intending to use it for those exact features (which you said you wanted to).

While I can’t see if those features are explicitly stated being against TOS I would just assume it is until stated otherwise. You can always risk it though and report back for others.

Hi, i do NOT intend to use SOCD because i know it has some trouble already. I only intend to change actuation press and use rapid trigger ( which deactivates the key right when u start lifting instead of waiting until you reach the actual actuation point) and tachyon mode ( which is a true 8k polling rate response). Those festures do not give you unfair advantage or etc, even cs allows it.

Well PlayStation and Xbox both have elite controllers that have set-able actuation points for rear triggers so that’s a point towards your use case but those are pre-approved official controllers.

Scuf and other 3rd party makers also have this option and are widely used, I guess it depends if it’s hardware or software based if the software has the ability to be used for more than just what you want it to do then they could blanket ban the software out of an abundance of caution.

That will be a very sad thing to do from their side. Of course the software is capable of much more, but if you do not use those features, it's their job to verify like valve is doing for CS, not sanction players without a warning.

I saw some responses given to players from EA, in which they stated something like " game-enchancement" which can mean a lot of things. I really hope they are able to provide more information about this because now it is unfair to a lot of people to be sanctioned for things they don't even know because EA can't explain well enough. Their statement isn't enough, we deserve explanations so we can know what is allowed and what not.

Hey, saw the post you made. You suspect that the ban has something to do with the rapid trigger on your keyboard ?
