Weapon bloom (spread) is fine.

The weapon spread is fine and does not need removing.

The longer you hold the trigger the more erratic the spread becomes, to counter this you need tap and burst fire which is something that we all learned to do, controlling your fire rate is a skill.

I understand alot if players are not used to this mechanic or just don't like it but it is there to prevent everybody just using full auto all the time, it makes engagements more tactical.

Full auto should only be used at close distances, thats a gameplay and design mechanic that is core to battlefields identity.

There is a refusal to adapt to the games mechanics because they do not mirror other games, its OK for games to take different approaches and to do their own thing, everything doesn't need to be copy and paste.

I could decide to play another fps and realise the gunplay doesn't mirror battlefields and complain but I won't because that is how that game works.

Is it a learning curve if you are not used to it, yes it is but just because you have to learn a mechanic doesn't make it bad.

If it was up to me we would have battlefield 3's suppression too that made your spread even worse when under fire.

  • bullet bloom is the communism of gaming. its there to make everyone as bad as the worst player. wokeness still exists here.  im starting to think bullet bloom is real time sbmm (skill based matchmaking). head to head with someone...game decides where your bullets fly off too

Only if you both hold the trigger down too much, if they control their fire and you don't then yes your bullets will spray everywhere

suppression is in the game but DOES NOT affect accuracy, its been stated by devs it only delays health regen thats it. if we had suppression back how its suppose to be then i would be happy

I have 100h is the game since beta. I don't watch others play the game. Yes the M4 was used a lot, why? Is it cool or good? Was shotgun used a lot cause it was cool or good? IMO i think it was too good in the beta, along with the AK and MP7. That is my opinion and its fine if you don't agree.

  • I'm on the side of keeping it. Just tone it back a little bit. I see both sides. I feel it's supposed to simulate the small things in a combat zone. The small things your soldier feels that as a game we have no way of knowing. The ragged breathing of your soldier after he sprints across the alley way, sliding into cover under fire. The shaking and trembling of his hands and body from the adrenaline rush of returning fire and coming close to death. Ever had an adrenaline rush in real life? Like a real one? Your pulse races and you can't stop trembling. I'm pretty sure whatever your holding is going to shake as well and at range those tiny shakes change the trajectory of your bullet from inches to feet. I say keep it. You want laser perfect aim, pew pew target dead? Go play another shooter. This is Battlefield.
