Why DICE is trying to hide HARDCORE mode?
Sadly, many people still don’t know how to find HARDCORE servers — which offer a completely different experience from the vanilla one.
- No enemy markers
- Real magazine changes (ammo doesn’t magically transfer between magazines)
- Reduced movement speed
- Minimal HUD
DICE only shows one HARDCORE type (Breakthrough) in the COMMUNITY section, but all modes are available if you search.
You still earn 100% XP, and the servers are full of players.
All you have to do is go to BROWSE SERVER > FILTERS, and use the tag HARDCORE.
Then sort by player count — and you’ll find the best servers to play with real soldiers ;)
