Wrongful Ban in BF6 due to reWASD – New Steam copy blocked
I am posting to seek a human review for a ban on my 12-year-old EA account.
The Situation: Two months ago, my account was permanently banned in Battlefield 6 battleroyal for "Game Enhancement/Cheating." I have never used aimbots or wallhacks. However, I do have reWASD installed on my PC. I use this software exclusively to map my PS5 DualSense controller for games that don't have native support or for specific accessibility layouts.
I understand that reWASD has recently been flagged by EA's anti-cheat, but I was not using it to gain a competitive advantage or to spoof mouse-and-keyboard as a controller.
The Current Conflict:
I appealed the case more than a month, but it has remained "In Progress" while I continued playing FC 26 on the same account without issues.
Today, I purchased a new retail copy of Battlefield via Steam to play with a friend.
Because my Steam is linked to this 12-year-old EA account, I am being blocked from playing the new copy I just paid for.
Request for Assistance: I am a long-time member of this community and have a clean record across a decade of Battlefield titles. I am requesting:
1- A manual review of my case regarding the reWASD false positive.
2- Advice on how to access the new copy of the game I purchased, as the current account link is preventing me from playing a game I legally own.
