REDSEC Season 4 Feedback: Ideas That Could Make the Game Even Better

# REDSEC Season 4 Feedback: Ideas That Could Make the Game Even Better

First of all, thank you to everyone working on REDSEC. I know building and maintaining a live-service game isn't easy, and I appreciate all the work that has gone into it.

I've been playing REDSEC since launch and have invested hundreds of hours into the game. I genuinely enjoy it, which is why I'm taking the time to write this. This isn't a complaint—it's constructive feedback from someone who wants REDSEC to become one of the best Battle Royale games on the market.

I hope someone from the development team takes a few minutes to read this.

## 1. Refresh the Weapon Meta

We're already in Season 4, yet the same weapons have dominated since launch.

• SVD

• KTS

• SCW

• KV-9

• EMR

• M2010

Most of the newer weapons are fun in Multiplayer, but in Battle Royale they simply can't compete with the current meta.

Every season should bring meaningful balance updates that encourage players to try different weapons instead of using the same loadouts for months.

## 2. Rework the Attachment Point System

The current attachment point system feels too restrictive.

Some extended magazines cost 40–45 attachment points, leaving very little room to customize the rest of the weapon.

Please consider:

• Lowering attachment costs.

• Increasing the available attachment points.

• Unlocking attachments permanently.

• Or replacing the point system with a fixed attachment-slot system.

Players should have more freedom to build weapons the way they want.

## 3. Add Attachments That Actually Matter in Battle Royale

Please add attachments that are actually useful in Battle Royale.

Some recent additions feel designed for Multiplayer instead of BR. For example, adding an extended barrel for shotguns doesn't really change anything when almost nobody uses shotguns in Battle Royale.

Instead, introduce attachments that:

• Make underused weapons more competitive.

• Create new build possibilities.

• Refresh the meta.

• Give players a reason to experiment every season.

## 4. Improve Ranked Matchmaking

Platinum players shouldn't be matched against Rookie players.

Ranked should consistently match players with similar skill levels.

## 5. Improve Netcode and Desync

This is still one of the biggest issues in REDSEC.

Players still experience:

• Dying behind cover.

• Enemies appearing to shoot before they're fully visible.

• Inconsistent hit registration.

• Inconsistent damage.

• Sometimes needing almost an entire magazine to down one player.

Ranked should reward skill—not server inconsistency.

## 6. Reduce Fall Damage and Adjust Parachute Activation

Small drops shouldn't deal so much damage or automatically deploy the parachute.

The current system interrupts movement and often gets players killed.

## 7. Improve Armor Plating

Applying armor plates feels too slow for the pace of Battle Royale.

A small increase in plating speed would make fights feel smoother.

## 8. Balance Underperforming Weapons

Several weapons simply aren't competitive.

Every weapon should have a role and be a viable choice in Battle Royale.

## 9. Add More Missions

Current missions have become repetitive.

Please introduce more rotating objectives and seasonal challenges to keep each season feeling fresh.

## 10. Rework Armored Enemies

Armored enemies feel more frustrating than fun.

If they remain in the game, regular weapons should still be able to damage them, even if it's reduced damage.

## 11. Reactivate Respawn Towers

Respawn towers should reactivate during the middle of the match, similar to loot refreshes.

This would create more comeback opportunities and make matches more exciting.

## 12. Improve Grenade Indicators

Different grenade types should have different colors.

🟡 Yellow = Stun

⚪ Gray = Smoke

🔴 Red = Incendiary

Small quality-of-life improvements like this make a big difference.

## 13. Balance Snipers and Rocket Launchers

The current balance feels inconsistent.

A direct hit from a rocket launcher can instantly eliminate a fully armored player, while a perfectly placed sniper headshot often doesn't.

Please consider:

• Making sniper headshots a one-shot kill under the appropriate conditions.

• Or reducing rocket launcher direct-hit damage against players.

High-risk precision weapons should feel more rewarding than explosives.

## 14. Fix Game-Breaking Bugs

Season 4 still has too many bugs affecting gameplay.

Some examples include:

• Players remaining visually downed after being revived while still moving and shooting.

• Random parachute deployment.

• Drone ping issues.

• Broken revive animations.

• Mission progression bugs.

• Audio bugs.

• Hit registration issues.

• Desync.

• Black screen crashes.

• General stability problems.

These issues affect the competitive experience just as much as weapon balance.

## Final Thoughts

REDSEC already has an amazing foundation. It doesn't need a complete redesign—it needs consistent balancing, meaningful seasonal updates, better server performance, quality-of-life improvements, and continued bug fixes.

Please don't let the game become stale. Give players reasons to experiment with new weapons, new attachments, and different strategies every season.

I truly appreciate the work the team has put into REDSEC, and I hope this feedback helps in some way. I believe this game has the potential to become one of the best Battle Royale experiences available if it continues evolving.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
