A crash like I’ve never known

Playing the game fine, little laggy in places but otherwise fine. 30-45 mins in and boom just shuts down, did it twice. Error codes all over the place

  • I’ve been experiencing the same thing, I’ll play through 1 or 2 then a silent crash, no error codes most of the time but EAAnticheat is the main culprit  most of the time. I’ve done these things so far and I still can’t get it to work, maybe it’ll help you

Verified and reinstalled Battlefield 6 via Steam.

Factory reset Windows 10; running latest updates.

Reset Windows DCOM settings and verified UEFI/Secure Boot configurations.

Added Windows Defender exclusions for EA Anti-Cheat service and DLL.

Reviewed crash dumps in %localappdata%\CrashDumps; no consistent driver or file issue found.

Monitored Event Viewer; recurring DCOM errors noted, unrelated to hardware.

Tested launching game without background apps, Xbox Game Bar, and with/without Discord.

Confirmed all system drivers and GPU updates are current.

Clean uninstall and reinstall of Drivers (DDU uninstaller)

Have the .EXE run as administrator and Anticheat run as administrator

Disabled background recording in windows game settings

Running on lower and lower graphics to avoid memory leak issues

Manually putting Ram min/max to 1.5x and 3x Ram in Win + R → sysdm.cpl → Advanced → Performance → Settings → Advanced → Virtual memory → Change(check for climbing Ram usage with MSI afterburner, if it goes up without going down try this)

(In steam) force dx11 by going to Battlefield 6 in library-properties-general-launch options-type “-dx11” in launch options

This isn’t exactly everything I did but I’ve done about 16 hours of troubleshooting this game and I’m finding that it’s just their Anticheat having issues, I’ve tried just about everything in and out of the book and have found no fix to this (I’m running GTX 4080, 64gb ram, i7 processor) and I have to run this game at medium for it not to have memory leak issues. I’ve also done their recommended settings of TPM 2.0 Enabled,

UEFI SECURE BOOT Enabled,HVCI Enabled, VBS Enabled. Idk what more to do but until I can actually play the game I’m taking a break

  • Same problem as you mrsir and i can not solve it, so frustrating
