Battlefield 6 – FPS drops by half until a setting is changed

Hey everyone,&nbsp;I’ve been running into an issue in Battlefield 6 where my FPS sometimes drops to about half of what it should be when launching the game or loading into certain maps.&nbsp;I found a temporary fix: if I change my display mode from Fullscreen to Bordered Windowed (or vice versa), the FPS immediately goes back to normal.&nbsp;It seems like something gets stuck with the display or graphics settings when the game starts. Maybe it’s related to fullscreen optimization or resolution scaling.&nbsp;Has anyone else run into this? Would be great if EA could look into it.

Yeah i've had this too and i've just been restarting the game each time so hopefully this seems like a much easier fix, this has happened to 2 of my friends too also&nbsp;

I’ve got the same problem — my FPS are between 35 and 28 in every round. When I first noticed the bug, it helped when I changed the settings to fullscreen and back, but now nothing helps anymore. Sadly, it’s unplayable after the last update with that FPS. Before the update, I had 100 or more FPS, even though I have a strong PC.

same here, I can feel it get sluggish, check fps, 80~.&nbsp; I usually go into settings and change DLSS between balanced and performance, and it goe back up to 144 fps on G-sync limited for me.&nbsp; very annoying because even at 80fps it feels really stuttery.

I bought the game from Steam even though I had changed my EA. Some problems were solved this way. However, the problem still persists.
