RTX 2080 Super, i7 10700K, Windows 11 here.
To understand why the Splash Screen crashes after a few seconds:
I opened the "Event Viewer" software.
Then open "Custom Views" and click on "Administrative Events"
Start the game on steam (or EA app I guess) then wait until it crashes.
Once it crashed go back to Event Viewer and tap on any other folder on the left panel and go back to "Administrative Events" to force refresh.
You will see one row with "Error" level. Click on it. In the bottom panel click on "Details". You will see the under the event data the service and the exit code.
For me it was written:
" EAAntiCheatService
The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000604"
To fix this error code:
- Open Settings
- Privacy & Security
- App & browser control
- Exploit protection settings
- Program settings
- Add program to customize
- Choose exact file path
- Select the bf6.exe in your Steam folders (from C: or D:) steamapps/common/Battlefiled 6/bf6.exe for me
- Click on "Open"
- Check all the "Override system settings" checkboxes but some flags will go ON automatically, turn them back OFF.
- Click on "Apply"
- Restart the game
