Battlefield 6 closes automatically during "Launching game..." screen

 

Message:

Hello EA Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue where Battlefield 6 fails to launch.

When I start the game, it reaches the splash screen showing "Launching game..." with the green progress bar filled, but then it instantly closes back to the EA App without displaying any error message or code. Note that the game was working fine and running smoothly before this issue started.

I have already tried repairing game files, running as administrator, and clearing the EA App cache, but the issue persists.

 Please help me resolve this issue.

    Hi there, thanks for sharing the details and the troubleshooting you've already tried.

    Do you remember when this issue first started? For example, did it begin after a game, Windows, driver, or EA app update?

    As a next step, please try performing a clean boot and then launching Battlefield 6 again. This can help identify whether a background application or service is interfering with the game during startup.

    the problem started yesterday evening. game worked fine yesterday. Logged in 1900 UK time and the game hung while launching. The game stopped after about 45 seconds to the desktop.  the process to start the game seems slower. probly is with EA Servers or anticheat software.
