Im having same exact issue. Silicon power ud90 2tb ssd. Only happens with battlefield 6 after one game or two then disk usage goes to 100%. I have to completely shut down the pc to fix it cause closing the game doesn't fix the disk usage. I did a disk clean up and disk usage dropped then tried opening a different game and went up to 100% again. I dont think its the ssd because I've played the finals and overwatch just fine for more than 4 hours at times with no issues. Ssd temps only get to 38c for the hottest after playing for a while. I think it might be a bf6 side issue with compatability with this ssd. Seen different reddit post about people having the same issue with the same ssd

Yet another SP UD90 experience… Any update with this would be appreciated from DICE.

I have different SSD but the same problem. My SSD is Lexar NM790 1TB (no DRAM) and when i start game i have 100% disk usage.
Battlefield 6\Data\Win32\installation\initialexperienceinstallpackage/cas these files uses SSD for 100%

Same issue with a brand new silicon power 2tb ud90. Bf6 is the only game with issues so I'm reluctant to buy a new ssd. The problem is even worse with redsec because the game will start before I'm loaded in and I'm unable to deploy. Extremely annoying.

I am in the same boat considering I have no issue with any other game. What a total bummer. I thought it was fixed in Season 1 but the issue still arises after 2 matches.

Any updates after Season 1 patch?

I just bought new SSD with DRAM and now game works perfect. I Bought Crucial T500 1TB on amazon for 95 EUR.

Same issue here. My SP UD90 was the issue. Luckily I was able to return my SSD to my PC builder and got a different SSD. They replaced it with a Patriot P410 and so far it’s been working good!
Don’t know if SP needs to release a firmware update or if BF6 needs to do an update? I just hope it gets resolved for those who aren’t as lucky as me. - ArkeenMVP4 months agoSeasoned Novice
Yup at this point its probably some incompatibility with this SSD. Really hope it can be resolved.
