Date/Time Issue Began: First Open Beta Weekend and continuing through launch
Summary:
Battlefield 6 keeps assigning my account to the Santiago, Chile data center. The tenancy string shown in-game is PROD_DEFAULT-SANTIAGO-COMMON. I live in Maryland, USA, and multiple lookup sites confirm my IP geolocation is US-East. Because I am routed to Santiago, every official matchmaking server I join has high latency, constant orange connection icons, rubber-banding, and severe desync. This makes the game nearly unplayable and prevents me from playing with my US friends without connection problems.
Where it happens:
All official large modes, including Conquest, Breakthrough, and Escalation.
Troubleshooting already done:
I verified game files in both Steam and the EA App. I cleared the EA App cache and Windows DNS cache. I flushed and renewed my IP configuration. I tested with VPNs, firewalls, and overlays disabled. I also tried different routers and networks. I reinstalled Battlefield 6 and the EA App. None of these steps changed the behavior.
What I believe is wrong:
This appears to be a backend tenancy misassignment. My account is repeatedly placed into the Santiago tenant instead of a US-East tenant. My understanding is that US players near me are typically assigned to US-East or IAD tenancy.
Requested action:
Please review my account’s data center tenancy and reset or reassign it to a US-East data center so matchmaking uses nearby servers. I am located in Maryland, USA, and should not be tied to Santiago, Chile.
