Battlefield 6 is shutting down Xbox Series X/S

Before I start I am not discouraging anyone from getting BF6 I just want to help this game get fixed but if this helps you make a decision to wait before purchasing then I’m happy to have helped.

As the title suggests Battlefield 6 is shutting down my Xbox Series S and it is the only game that does this, I can play other titles such as No Man’s Sky and Borderlands 4 for hours with no issues, my Xbox isn’t the issue and from what I have read many other people are experiencing the same thing and many agree it’s not their hardware.

This issue is also reported on PS5 and PC so it is affecting all main platforms making it a bigger issue overall.

I have taken various steps to fix the issue including uninstalling and reinstalling the game without the HD texture packs (they don’t work on the Series S) and have power cycled my console but unfortunately it didn’t work. I can play a few matches before my Xbox shuts down so I leave after two matches and start again and it can help but doesn’t prevent it, I theorize it’s a server issue but I’m no expert on the matter.

I want to play Battlefield 6 especially since Double Xp is active but unfortunately I can’t, this game is really fun and is the best entry in the series since the legendary Battlefield 1.

Please address and fix this issue as this is preventing gamers from buying, playing, and enjoying Battlefield 6, thank you for your time.
