I’m trying to launch Battlefield 6 on Steam, but after the splash screen it closes, opens a full black window for about 5 seconds, and then shuts down with no error message. Event Viewer shows no new crash logs after the attempted launch, and the only crash dumps point to NVIDIA/DXGI modules before termination. I already tried forcing DX11, removing DLSS/FrameGen DLLs, clearing shader caches, and updating drivers, but the game still crashes. I'm attaching a reddit post that shows the issue

I have the weirdest workaround that just worked for me, mind you i am on a 5080 and 5120x1440p - i might have figured out what is causing it inddirectly.
in the nvidea app, after restoring global settings, set BF6 to windowed and highest performance setting. (this launched the game for me but do NOT make it Fullscreen or anything for the time being.) After launching, go into settings and there was something still set to "overkill" quality, i think it was textures. (even though we launched it asking to do lowest graphics)
This is where I went into the campaign mode - and once i had control of my character in campaign, i opened settings and changed it to fullscreen and manually changed the fullscreen resolution to 5120x1440.
Havnt switched out of campaign yet but im hopefull and at least i can play something
