Problem occured after a forced Windows update. Been trying several solutions the whole evening and even with an extensive chatgpt guidance which led me Windows' rabbit holes i have never been in before...but....no joy...
My Lenovo Legion laptop doesnt have much other software running besides Steam and I haved played through the whole BF6 single player game last weekend before the forced Windows update (of this evening).
**bleep** today was my only evening I had a few hours to play. :(
Hopefully there will be a fix soon.
