Same issue here, i wouldn't hold my breath, EA has yet to even acknowledge the fact that this is an issue, 'nor is there any way to fix it.Used to be ways to force the anti-cheat to update but i cannot find anywhere to do so. Good luck getting into the game. Maybe some guru will have the answer i hope. For both of us.

Been trying several solutions the whole evening and even with an extensive chatgpt guidance which led me Windows' rabbit holes i have never been in before...but....no joy...My Lenovo Legion laptop doesnt have much other software running besides Steam and I haved played through the whole BF6 single player game last weekend before the forced Windows update (of this evening).**bleep** today was my only evening I had a few hours to play. :(Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

Same here, I've tried everything too and so far nothing, EA said they are investigating and will soon provide a solution but I believe that not even they know why. Let's wait for a patch or some guru lol

Battlefield 6 Wont Launch — EAAntiCheatService and 0xC0000005 Error

When I click Play on Steam, the BF6 splash screen shows up for a few seconds, then the game crashes with no logs or error message. (As seen on the video I attached)

Checking Event Viewer, I see these two errors every time (sometimes just the second one):
EAAntiCheatService
Failed retrieving service path.
&
EAAntiCheatService
The game bf6.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005

Sometimes the error does not appear at all, but the behavior is the same.

Steps I have already tried:

Validated game files
Fully reinstalled Battlefield 6
Manually uninstalled and reinstalled EA AntiCheat (including deleting leftover folders and service)
Updated GPU drivers
Updated motherboard BIOS
Added bf6.exe and EAAntiCheatService.exe to Windows Exploit Protection exceptions
Disabled Control Flow Guard (CFG) and Mandatory ASLR for bf6.exe
Restored NVIDIA global settings to default
Disabled NVIDIA and Steam overlays
Turned off Smooth Motion and Variable Refresh Rate
Moved the game install to a different SSD
Tried launching in single-player only

Same issue here, i wouldn't hold my breath, EA has yet to even acknowledge the fact that this is an issue, 'nor is there any way to fix it.

Used to be ways to force the anti-cheat to update but i cannot find anywhere to do so. Good luck getting into the game. Maybe some guru will have the answer i hope. For both of us.

I fixed this issue. Update your bios. I tried everything and once I updated the bios I have had no problems playing the game. I hope it works for you all. Good luck.

So lame. I spent at least 12-15 hours reinstalling, rebooting, changing settings and I was about to just get a refund. I hope you all get it working somehow.

Roll back to the latest stable Windows build (23H2, Build 22631.x)
This version is supported and Battlefield 6 should launch normally.
Insider builds (24H2, 25H2) are not guaranteed compatible until EA updates Javelin.

Stay on 24H2/25H2 and wait for an EA patch
If you rely on Insider builds, you’ll need to wait for EA to update Javelin AntiCheat to support them.
EA has not yet confirmed official support.
