Battlefield Appeals

I just wish they didn't wall themselves off and would allow me to have a open discussion about it over chat. Every other department seems to have that ability except for them and it's really frustrating and disheartening. I've been a member here since 09 and have enjoyed BF games since Bad Company 2. It's just really upsetting that after all this time and loyalty to the franchise with no other warnings or penalties I'm given a permanent ban from a game I purchased twice to play with my son and battle passes over an unfortunate circumstance that's already been resolved on my end by deleting the offending software. 

Thanks for sharing your experience. I understand how frustrating it is to feel that you’ve been banned in error, and cases like this are also taken into account as part of ongoing anti-cheat improvements.

Unfortunately the web form doesn't work for me. If I select Submit an Appeal and submit it I'm brought to a page where there's only a link to view my penalty history, which is blank. So it's effectively a dead end for me. 

EA_LunardustCat​ Thanks for the reply, I've used the web form to try to appeal before under the appeal section but it just brings me to a page that only shows the Penalty History option and there is no Contact Us option there for me. When I was able to submit appeals I had asked for clarification several times but only ever received a copy paste denial which led me to believe the system was completely automated.

I fully explained that I was instructed to use the "Compatibility Mode" feature of ReWASD by the Devs and even provided photo evidence from their Discord of them doing so. I was under the impression that doing so disabled problematic features and was unaware that it was a bypass. I've since deleted REWASD and have no intention to use it again because of their catering to cheaters. I feel I've been treated unfairly and have yet to actually talk to anyone in the Terms and Services team over the situation. I know there's nothing you can do about it and I appreciate you trying to help. I'm just venting. 

Hi, if you don’t see the violation you want to appeal listed in the Penalty History tool, use this webform instead. To avoid giving cheat developers information that could help them bypass detection, the team may not provide the kind of detail you’re referring to. You may still continue to request clarification from them.

However, I can see that your case has already gone through 10 reviews. If you’re no longer able to submit another appeal, that usually means the team considers the matter fully reviewed and the decision final.

EA_LunardustCat​ Idk if you can get any information from that team but something doesn't seem to be working correctly. I've been banned since October and I no longer can submit appeals and my Penalty History is now empty. I found my way to the Web Form as instructed by EA Help Chat to submit an appeal through that but when I submit it there is no Contact US option like there should be and it only directs me back to the Penalty History which is blank. I'm literally stranded with a perm ban and no way to talk to a person that can help me. I don't even know why I was banned other than Gameplay Enhancements but no actual "You did X, we detected Y" reason.

for those giving the good advice, I play Battlefield through Steam, I don’t run any other apps or whatever they’re called besides discord. I don’t know what other things can run at the same time as battlefield nor do I believe I’m smart enough to understand how any of this game enhancement stuff works. But thank you.

to those with similar issues if we try our best to continue to appeal cases maybe EA or Dice will take a look at how these suspensions or bans are handled or being issued. Who knows.

No idea,  I literally have only discord running in the backround so I couldn't even guess unless it was discord. The recent massive computer freeze up that were happening to people including my friend were being caused by the anti cheat. I'm assuming something is seriously wrong with the anti cheat rn.  It is very frustrating to go through this if you're innocent :(

DaddyXplode​ , do you know exactly why? I’ve read cases of reversed suspensions/bans where people got suspended/banned again because the detection system triggered for same plausible reason. I’d be careful of I were you to start playing again without figuring out what could have caused your first situation.

I have not heard back now after ~20 hours.
