This has happened to me about 5 or 6 times so far since the last update, I know it has done the same thing to a couple of my friends as well.
When trying to exit a game before the game ends, I am faced with a black screen, the game will not fully exit the game I am currently in. I have to control alt delete to close the game and then open it back up. I do not get any errors, it is the game just froze during the exit.
I do not have this issue when the game ends and I exit during the awards screen.
Sometimes after quiting a match, the screen goes black and i have to exit the game, quit and restart.
And then sometimes i quit a match and everything looks good. But then i start a new match and only the hud is showing, rest of the screen is black and i have to quit game and restart again.
Very annoying.
I've been having this problem too. I have to ALT-F4 and restart the game.

It looks like these black screen issues may be happening during match exit or when transitioning into the next game, rather than during initial launch. We’ll make sure that’s noted.
If you’re affected, it would be really helpful to know exactly when it happens on your side — for example:
- When leaving a match early
- After the round fully ends
- While loading into the next match
- Whether restarting the game is the only workaround for you
If you’re on PC, you’re also welcome to share a DxDiag report if convenient, as that may help with comparing system and driver details across reports.

I've been continuing to have this issue since the middle of season 3. It randomly stopped happening towards the last couple weeks of the season but started again in the last week of season 3. I can't be in the game (not even the main menu) for more than a few minutes before my monitor goes black screen and unresponsive. I have to full restart my PC to get out of it, and when I get back in my AMD drivers have been damaged and I need to reinstall them.
I have tried uninstalling the game, verifying the files, and reinstalling my drivers after a clean uninstall. Nothing has definitively worked. It's a miracle I was even able to play towards the end of season 3. My crash log is from after the game has already bricked my drivers and I've restarted my PC. This was also after I clean reinstalled my drivers.
This issues was fixed before, and now returned since Season 3 release
As title says, the game hangs on a black screen when leaving games. It never recovers and needs to be alt+f4 closed or through task manager.
Has happened on 100% of my leaves on the last update.
If you quit a match too quickly after being killed, you will be stuck in a black screen and have to quit the game through other means. This happens when you quit the match after being killed and before it has a chance to put you back in the spawn menu. This was a problem after launch, and getting stuck with a BF6 logo. There are countless reports about it then, and many reports about this black screen now. It was fixed before, but you (DICE) have brought the problem back.
