One of the highest voted and active threads for bug reports is about hard crashes, not software crashes...

I'm having the same exact issue and I have a 1200W PSU with a huge amount of headroom. I even had a spare 1000W PSU to rule out my current one and the crashes continued.
" Doesn't hurt to try a new PSU simply to rule it out, that's all I'm saying. "
Doesn't hurt besides telling OP to spend money on a new PSU? The possibility of a PSU only showing faults on one single game, especially if other games that pull more power than bf6 and don't crash is slim... It's even more slim when the issue is being reported across forums by many people.
rusbreakbot some people on reddit have this issue with a 1200W+ power supply (with a non xx90 nvidia gpu). I know one of the users reported that he swapped his PSU with a more powerful one and it solved his issue, for others the issue was still there.
That's why I'm hesitant to blame the PSU and buy a new one, it's not a perfect solution with no risks (buying something that you really didn't need to)

Yeah I was in the the thread with that person that reported that PSU swap fixing it. I would bet money that was just a luck of the draw for that user and happened to fix their problem.
Agreed, I would be hesitant too. If there were minimal users having this issue, I would start replacing hardware but there a lot of people in the same boat we are.
