You have an older CPU, so it makes sense it's running a little maxed out. Try running on lower graphics settings, perhaps?
I have a 9800X3D and PNY 5080. When I'm playing, they both sit around 60% use.- 0xKingZ4 months agoNew Novice
im already set low btw

Here's some CPU troubleshooting tips.
Some of the CPU cores might be maxing out at 100% usage. To check if there are any CPU cores hitting 100% usage, open the Windows Task Manager CPU graph.
- Run the game in windowed mode (alt + enter)
- Open Task Manager (alt + ctrl + del)
- Open the Performance tab, then right-click on the CPU graph and choose "Change graph to > Logical processors".
- Set Task Manager to 'always on top' by clicking option
Now you can play the game and monitor per core CPU usage. If any CPU core hits 100% usage the game will stutter.
Also check if the CPU frequency is slowing down in Windows Task Manager. For example, below 3GHz.
Download CPU-Z and verify CPU RAM memory is in dual channel mode.
Make sure XMP/EXPO memory overclocking is enabled in BIOS settings.
I like your eagle avatar!

haha thanks i also like this avatar, already download cpu-Z, how to enable XMP/EXPO memory overclocking in BIOS?
btw I made a config like the picture, is it good?

CPU-Z says the RAM is in dual channel mode. That's good!
I would compare with the .cfg file and without. See which one gives higher frame rates.
How many frames per second are you gettings?

9800x3D, 48GB @ 6000, RX9070XT, 1440p ultra, FSR Native AA. GPU is always 90% plus, all threads running at least 60+% evenly and I'm 130+ FPS and the game is smooth as anything..
