[BF6 Start up error] This software cannot be used at the same time as the game.

I keep getting this error on my PC when launching from Steam.

This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC. (84): appshopdrv103.sys

I have no hot keys, no VPN, secure boot enabled, TPM 2.0. I've never used any cheating software and have launched BF games in the past no problem. 

I went through my task manager and ended numerous tasks that may interfere. Could not find any info on appshopdrv103.sys. 

Please help

    I saw the mention of this app and tried uninstalling it but it wasn't listed as an installed app/program and I never installed it.

    Hence my workaround.

    If you have a suggestion for a cleaner approach, I'd love to know.

    So far so good btw. No issues with my PC and the game works perfectly.
