BF6 started crashing out of nowhere!

After spending 110hrs into the game which went flawlessly I started having issues with crashing, it seems random, whatever mode I'm playing at some point it will crash, I would be lucky to finish one round of any game. The crashing started somewhere around season 1 update release....

I have tried everything that I could find online like BIOS update, driver update, reinstall, install on another drive, etc... one suspecious behaviour is that whenever I use the install file verify function on steam it finds 2-3 files to download, sometimes I get an error which I have attached.

I have many other games installed which have no problems whatsoever except for BF6.

The game is unplayable now...

Same! Last night playing just fine, and have been since launch. Went to work, came home, lived life and decided to play. Turned on PC loaded up and can't get 30 seconds into a game of REDSEC without the game crashing to desktop like someone hit ALT+F4.

NOTHING CHANGED! NO UPDATES, NO DRIVERS NOTHING! UNPLAYABLE!

ADMIN, ANSWER THESE POSTS! REPLY AND LETS US KNOW WTF IS HAPPENING! $100 GAME THAT IS UNPLAYABLE!

This such a bomber, at least if Devs would discuss it and say we are working on it, it would be better than now. No acknowledgment from them...

I was able to turn it on, I never did OC my CPU or GPU, just the RAM.

  • Welcome to the DirectX Crash World. We are many. We tried many things and nothing works. The Problem is not your GPU, CPU or whatever. You can do nothig against it. Sometimes it doesnt happend for hours then it crashes every 5 minutes. Its EA. It already happend on other Games. A link where you con post your Stuff EA Already knows abou it. Dont try that Voodoo Stuff that some guy say just a waste of time.

  • ProfMilad try running the video card in debug mode.

Purpose: To temporarily disable any factory overclock on a graphics card to determine if instability is due to the overclock.

    How to enable:
Open the NVIDIA Control Panel (right-click desktop -> NVIDIA Control Panel).

    Go to the "Help" menu.
    Click on "Debug Mode".

This option will be grayed out if your card is not factory overclocked.
