Can't launch on Steam. Running out of ideas.

When I try to launch the game on Steam, I get the EA splash screen just fine, then the black window opens then closes without actually launching the game. I've tried reinstalling the game and Steam, verifying the files (which shows 3 failed files each time I try), checking Windows Defender, waiting for another update - it worked fine before they added the Javelin anticheat in the first update - updating both Windows and my Nvidia drivers, reinstalling said drivers... nothing is working. If anyone has any more ideas I'm all ears. I really do like the game and don't want a refund, I just want it to work. This issue has persisted for a week now. My PC recognizes the game as launching and I even get the game's custom keyboard lighting, but then it just closes without a crash report or error message.
