Connection failed (Cant get into the game)

I cant play battlefield 6 (Steam)
Everytime I launch the game I get the CONNECTION FAILED error message that Im unable to connect to the EA servers.
Heres what I tried:
Ive seen others have this exact same Issue and for most of them using a VPN somehow works and It actually works for me and is the only way im able to play but when using a VPN the connection isnt always stable and ping is worse and its not a pleasant experience
Ive also seen people say to disconnect any unused USB devices which ive tried and that didnt work.
Ive also tried going to msconfig and disabling all the services while hiding windows services also didnt work
Ive tried setting my Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) DNS to 1.1.1.1 and alternative to 1.0.0.1 aswell as other combinations like 8.8.8.8 etc and nothing worked
Ive also tried going to my firewall and seeing if all instances of BF6 are allowed and yes they all are
Ive also tried reinstalling the game
Ive also tried verifying the integrity of the files
Ive tried disabling and turning off any programs that arent being used at the time of launching BF6

I need help if someone can help with this issue that would be great but I think its on EA side of things at this point
The Open Beta and Labs playtest were fine I could play those no problem and I havent changed a thing since

  • ronokopl Which country are you from? I'm seeing a lot of Russian players having issues with matchmaking.

    Other possible reason could be.

    • Home router issue.
    • Home ISP issue.

The easiest way to narrow down if it's a router or ISP issue is to bypass the home router by connecting your PC directly to the internet modem. Then power cycle the internet modem by unplugging it.

If you can now connect to BF6 then it was a router issue. If you still can't connect then it's an ISP issue.

It's not always possible to bypass the home router and connect directly to the internet modem. If that's the case you can log into the home router and put the PC in the demilitarized zone (DMZ). This bypasses the router's firewall.

I'm from the czech republic and I have friends that are also from here that it works for and when I use the VPN in the same country it works but since its VPN its laggy
I'll try later if this works with the router but dont rly know much of how to do it hopefully ill figure it out
Anyways I have no clue why all the playtests and open betas worked flawlessly and now its having issues.

Same issue here. Just about to try using VPN - No idea why this has suddenly occurred. On Steam, I don't have any other EA games but every other game works fine.

  • Same bs as me - Over 40hrs played and suddenly I can now only connect via VPN

  • same here. worked fine for weeks, now it wont connect to ea online services. EA SUCKS FFS!!!
