Constant Packet Loss Since Top Gun Update
I'm encountering a ton of packet loss in the last week of playing the game. I'm only getting it in BF6 and not in other games. The first round in the game is fine. But then as time goes on into rounds 2 and 3 I start encountering issues the longer that I play the game. I have to close the game, and restart it when it gets really bad. The problem goes away when I restart the game. But I shouldn't have to restart the game between every round played.
I've checked my CPU and GPU temps. During intense play my CPU runs at 62C and GPU at 70C so nothing should be throttling. My frame rate goes from around 80-90 down to 45-50 fps and it makes the game really laggy and hit reg pretty much disappears.
I have no explanation for it. My connection is cable at 267mbps down and 277mbps up and I have 6ms ping to my ISP.
My ping ingame is usually around 45. I just keep getting the little yellow packet loss and yellow server connection icons in the top left corner of the game as well as little numbers ranging from 70-120, though I'm not sure what those mean. The scoreboard still has my ping around 45-50. FPS starts to drop, hit registration disappears. It's not a good experience.
I've played the game since launch and I had no connection issues with the game until the Top Gun update landed. Since then it's just constant connection issues.
I'm mostly wondering if this is a known issue with other players. It's really getting frustrating. The game becomes nearly unplayable.
