Crossplay matchmaking issue between Xbox and pc parties

Back again to further highlight this issue that has been plaguing the game since the beta. Now 2 months post launch, and it still remains an issue. Matchmaking with a party RARELY works; someone almost always gets left behind. We are all lucky to get back-to-back matches where everyone loads in properly without having to requeue EVERY SINGLE MATCH. Someone almost always gets left behind; they are still "in the party" but not joining into the match with the rest of the squad. It happens randomly, to the host or to non-hosts, on PC, Xbox, Playstation. It happens across all platforms to everyone I know that plays.

Please upvote this and help raise awareness at EA on this issue, as it has been going on since August, and with a game so focused on team play, not getting into matches with the people you are partied up with consistently is crazy in 2025. PLEASE FIX.

Happens to me everyday. Crossplay party and I’m always left in the lobby even though I hear the game loading audio. Doesn’t matter who is party leader. Happens in normal multiplayer and redsec. 

My friends and I will lobby up together, start a match and many times we get the animation of our team standing as match is set to start. Then the game loops a random player in the party back to the lobby while the others are loading in. 

Other times, when we finish a game, we wait for matchmaking to begin another game, the countdown timer will go, the match will be found, and then for a random player in our party, the matchmaking timer will restart once again breaking the lobby, forcing us to leave the game and reconnect in the lobby. 

We have closed the app and reopened, we have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, we have even reset our routers and still we get this issue literally every other game we play on BF6. Additionally, my internet is 1gig and fully open NAT type.

We are primarily on Xbox Series X but also have a player on PS5 that this happens to as well.

same...... and now with the new update, after leaving game we ALSO HAVE TO FORCE CLOSE the game or else we can't launch the new winter maps...... smh

1. The chat still isn't working at all for me. I can hit enter and it shows the chat but I can't type at all. I've seen others chatting so I'm not sure why this persists with me and some of my friends. I've had it work one game since the winter patch but then it stopped working the next game and still hasn't started working.
2. Weapon select bug where you have to leave the game because you can't move after selecting/editing a weapon loadout. This has been going on since the winter patch and still isn't fixed. It's really annoying to have to leave the game and if you have a party then everyone has to back out since you are stuck. This persists through death as well.
3. Still getting terrible hit-reg issues. One game it's fine I can get headshots and get kills normally and other games it's like I'm shooting rubber bb's. Sometimes dumping an entire mag into someone and still not killing them even at close range. Also this happens to not just effect guns but also RPG's, C4 etc... sometimes only doing 30dmg when it's literally a direct hit or the C4 is literally at their feet. They still have time to turn around and kill me in 1-2 shots. This is especially bad for the sniper class because you shoot someone and they see your scope glare giving your location away after you should have had a headshot. This happens a LOT it won't even register a body hit when this happens. I've dumped around 7-10 shots into someone and not one registered even though I was dead on.
4. Graphical issues - my hands are invisible (only a portion of gloves is) even after repairing the game, reinstalling.. etc.. this started during the winter patch.
5. Party issues: If my friends are in a party with me it's almost every other game we have to back out because their game doesn't load into the same match.

My specs:

Ryzen 9, 32gb ram, rtx5080 

The only workaround for the chat is to press "Enter" in the beginning of the round before you even see your soldier standing next to the 3 random ppl, you can then immediatly test to type things in it, it will work. And after it worked in the beginning it works the complete round.

Besides the party thing (that everyone who uses matchmaking has issues with) I haven't had any of those issues with mouse and keyboard on xbox. Must be a problem with the PC executable.

If you search for and join a community verified-mode server, the game will play just like a matchmade server, except your party will never be broken up at the end of a round ever again, and you will have the bonus of a set map rotation and attack/defend (or opposing sides) rotation that will never randomly change or repeat.

1. Have you tried repairing the game?
2.  This might be the issue where you can't resume back into the game, after death it happens.  You have to hit the loadout key 'Y' and it comes back.

4.  This happens on some Skins, the one from the Phantom edition specifically for me.

Hello, I’m experiencing a bug that has been present since BF6 launch. When playing 3 players in cross-play (Xbox Series S + Xbox + PC) in Conquest: As soon as the PC player joins, the Series S player gets disconnected. The issue does not occur in Survival or with 2 players. NAT open, multiple tests done, bug persists. Please confirm if this bug is known and if it will be fixed. If you have the same problem, reply “Same issue here” so EA can prioritize it.
