Summary of the bug: The game crashes and a DirectX error dialog pops up.
Type of issue (Crash / Disconnect / Kicked to main menu, etc.): Game crash – DirectX error. Windows continues to run normally afterwards.
Which mode did this happen in? Multiplayer – Breakthrough. However, it occasionally happens in every game mode.
Any other errors when it happens? No.
Does it crash the entire game, or just show the error? The entire game crashes. Windows continues to run normally afterwards.
Is this during a specific mission or cutscene? No.

Summarize your bug: When playing any multiplayer, just playing the game, my game will freeze completely and crash. An error pops up which then closes the game once I click okay

-Not during any particular map, mode. Will crash during deployment screen/shooting/running in game. It will crash during periods of low graphical demand.
Same Direct X error that other users are reporting "DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with...This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers." This happens every time. I have not had any other crashes or errors.
Methods that I have tried and have failed without any change to the crashing or having any mixed success:
1. New install of the game/running as administrator
2. Lowering graphic settings to minimal/changing fps to native 60. Undervolting my GPU clock/speed/VRAM. Overclocking GPU/playing at maximum settings (ultra).
3. Fresh install of new GPU drivers/using previous drivers/using older drivers.
4. Replacing RAM/Removing 1 RAM at a time (RAM recommended as per MOBO specs).
5. BIOS: Turning off XMP, disabling fast boot. Turning off REBAR.
6. Running as administrator/adding to allowed programs in windows security. Disabling EA app/Disabling
These have been recommended fixes across multiple forums dating back to BF2042 crashes and BF6 beta. Appears to be affecting everyone regardless of system specs or hardware.

This happens regardless of what type of gameplay is occurring. This has happened on both campaign and multiplayer. I'll add that I've noticed (could possibly be placebo) when using settings that aren't Overkill, and reduced AO to GTAO with Future Frame Rendering Disabled, and Anti-Lag disabled on both in-game and in-software, it can take up to a couple of hours before the inevitable happens. It will happen, the question is just when. The game runs flawlessly with no sign of instability - it will happen without any symptoms leading up to an eventual crash - aka it's spontaneous.
I have, like many others gone through hoops for placebo fixes, but to no avail. DDU in safe mode, BIOS update, disable iGPU, updated TdrDelay in Reg edits.. underclocked GPU, and many other things.
When the crash happens, my drivers crash with the following infamous DXGI error that we all know so well and love very much. Windows fails to reinitialize the drivers, disables them and uses its basic fallback drivers as backup. I'm forced to re-enable in Device Manager and reboot. This is the only game I've had this happen, my system is stable, and so is my memory. latest BIOS update *did* help with system stability, especially with my memory kit.

The screenshot of the error happened yesterday before I installed the preview drivers for BF 6 by AMD. But the same error happens, just with a reference to driver version 25.10.1 instead.

Summarize your bug: I'm able to start the game and do stuff in the lobby, until I then go to a gamemode and decide to matchmake or if I just open one gamemode it crashes and then sends me the error code.

Your computer specs don't meet the minimum requirements to play, that could be why you can't load into a game.

Sadly no. It's verry frustrating, but we have to wait for a patch...
