Dlss frame gen not working after s4 update

I noticed it after I saw the new frame generation settings BF added to the game in the latest update, such as Dynamic Frame Generation and 6x. After wanting to test these new options, I noticed that frame generation doesn't do anything in the game anymore. I tried all of the frame generation settings, and nothing changed.

I used to have 2x enabled all the time, and the game would run at 120 FPS with 90 FPS 1% lows. Now, with 2x and even 6x enabled, it's running at 70 FPS with 50–60 FPS 1% lows, on easier or lower-demand maps. It can go lower in more packed maps

I noticed that some other people have also been having issues with frame generation since this update, when I was on the BF discord server.
