A DirectX error persists in both the Open Beta and Closed Beta. The game works fine, but multiplayer doesn't work at all. The issue occurs on completely different systems and hardware. Reinstalling the game, drivers, and DirectX doesn't help, nor does trying different launch parameters. Is there a solution that will fix this permanently, or how long should I wait for a patch? Hopefully, it won't take two months...
I just bought 2.5k gamming PC to play this game, and instead I have only this lame unfixable problem.
My setup is fresh win 11 home, no OC, everything newly installed solely for BF6. I have tried every fix there is, no luck.
I am QA Engineer and I'm available to support if its needed.
One update: BF1 that worked great on my old PC, on new one crashes in the same manner as BF6. BF1 requires EA app, is the game that used DirectX 11 if I remember right, so two totally different generations crash in the same way.
Right now i turned on Expo 1 in BIOS because my RAM is 6000 so full speed can be utilized. I will write if this makes any difference for this defect.
Yes, BF1 started to crash with exactly the same error right after Javelin anti-cheat was added to BF1. Worked for years with no issues.
Have you Flashed the BIOS?
