Error Code 0:85011S

Following up with you on the Error Code 0:85011S. Are you still getting this as of now? What region are you connecting to?

chivesman1​ Are you on PC or console? There is not going to be a single fix, I'm afraid. It will be a trial and error, as it is a generalized error and not a specific error.

I am on pc, steam. I have successfully resolved the problem. I noticed that my battlefield was able to connect to online services and work normally via mobile Hotspot internet, so I disabled ipv6 and set my ipv4 dns to 8.8.8.8 primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary and that completely fixed the issue for me. It had something to do with my internet provider's ipv6 being too shaky for bf6 servers and was getting packet loss.

I’m on Xbox, this error code is now back after it stopped. Seems to be worse this time after the newest update with huge PL and ping spikes. 

also getting in game freezes where the only solution is to turn the console off. 

I’ve tried everything and am ready to just uninstall the game completely. The amount of time lost trying to fix a game that is constantly not letting me just play it is frustrating and taking away the fun of it.

Since you've already gone through the usual Xbox troubleshooting, here are a couple of other things that have helped some players in similar situations:

• Try connecting the Xbox to a mobile hotspot for a quick test. If the game connects and stays stable, it may help narrow it down to how your home network is communicating with the game servers rather than the console itself.
• If your router supports it, temporarily disable IPv6 and use IPv4 only to see if the behavior changes. One PC player with the same 0:85011S error resolved it after identifying an IPv6 routing issue with their ISP. While those exact steps don't apply to Xbox, it may still be worth checking whether your network is using IPv6.
  
  

When packet loss and ping spikes start, do they occur immediately after joining a server, or does the match play normally for a while before everything suddenly degrades? And when the console freezes, does it lock up only during gameplay, or have you also seen it freeze while in the menus? Those details may help narrow down whether you're running into one issue or a couple of separate ones.

I am on pc running through the ea app. I cannot play 1 full multiplayer match without this error. Occurring. Ive gone through everything. Wiped and reinstalled all files. 3 times. Still this error about halfway through the test match. Wanted to play it the last 2 or 3 weeks and have not been able to. 

Any updates on this or workarounds? I'm on PC and it won't even let me start the game

I just tested the ipv4 DNS settings and disabling ipv6.  That did not fix my issue.
