Error code 1:85009S

Just waited in the Live Chat for over an hour to be told that it would be reported to their Team.  Almost 2 weeks and not being able to play a game I paid $70 dollars for.  

Yeah, I ended the Chat by saying I've been waiting and checking social media and forums for 2 weeks with no acknowledgement from them.  Then i just posted 'Shameful' and closed the chat. Wasn't helpful to do that but made me feel a tiny bit better about wasting $70.

After starting BF6 I got the same error 1:85009S. Most the time I am not able to starte a multiplayer match. When Iam able to join to a match then after a short time I got this error and get disconnected.

Every further Battlefield game was running fine. Also every other Multiplayer game. 

I hope EA will fix thos error soon.

For F's Sake its been 13 days already, HUGE Update's gonna come for SEASON 1 on 28th October! these DEVS or whoever I don't know responsible for fixing this issue what are they doing? Do people's time and money even matter for them? ATLEAST they should notify or response something or SAY IT that we ain't be able to fix it in OUR LIFETIME, so yeah... we won't try or troubleshoot the issue on our 'OWN' wasting our time & YES wiping out the whole PC is not a SOLUTION, it doesn't make sense what if it happens again with the FRESH OS install! SHAME on EA and their entire team. TWO weeks is a very long time. 

Any fix for this yet?  I wish I could refund now.  I've only got 10 x 4 min games so far.

New update on X, but still not working

EA rolling out all these updates but they still did not consider fixing the Error Codes

So I reinstalled W11 again and the game is working now. I narrowed down the problematic software to GlobalProtect VPN which I use for work. Doesn't matter if it's connected or not, it seems it messes with the network configuration and I keep getting the 85009S error as long as it's installed on my PC.  No other game has such issues with it. I guess I'll install a second "work only" windows iteration on a different partition, so I don't have to reinstall every single weekend.

As many here have said, this is not a viable solution, as I shouldn't have to go to such lengths to play this game that I bought from a multi-billion dollar corporation. It's embarrassing...  I hope the Saudis get EA in line.

So after reading your message, I decided to Reinstall Windows 11 on mine as well.  I use GlobalProtect for my Work.  I tried Revo Uninstalling it to nuke it from my system, but was still getting the 85009S Unknown error afterwards.  Tried a fresh install and it is now working.  So I definitely believe it is something with the AntiCheat detecting something on the PC that it does not like.  I have been able to play 2 full matches now without the error.
