Hi there, the team is aware of reports from some players that the game may hang on the BF6 logo screen or a black screen after leaving a match or installing/uninstalling game content from the in-game menu.
While the result is similar, they seem to have different causes so we are continuing to investigate and understand possible resolutions. For now, if content like the campaign needs to be installed or uninstalled, we recommend doing it through the game service like EA app and not the front-end menu.
Thank you for your patience.

I am also experiencing the black screen when leaving a match early or quitting after a round to change my search settings. It just seemingly happens randomly. It is quite frustrating though.

I'm facing this black screen issue whenever i play halfway and had to force reset the CPU.
Anyone facing this issue?
Any resolutions to this? - Grandpa4u1 month agoRising Novice
I am getting the same issue. I just bought my new PC and downloaded Battlefield 6. I tried the fix’s that they gave to other people with this same issue but it didn’t fix it.

Same issue, seems this bug was reintroduced in the Blastpoint update

I'm on PS5. Doesn't happen every time, but since the latest patch I've hit the black screen softlock twice while exiting a match and going back to the main menu. Prior to the patch, I've never had the black screen issue even once.

Come on EA, this black screen when exiting a match has been an issue for far too long... AGAIN.

Don't worry, they might fix it after they release a few more cash grabs for the store.

This is more of response to my previous post that I cannot find anymore.
Crashing after splash screen started about 2.5 months ago when I had motherboard sent in for repair.
So following results I found online for issue I did checked drivers, updated windows and removed and reinstalled the anti-cheat and did a clean boot with no luck. Deciding it was a deal with secure boot issue because of the bios reflash, I reinstalled Windows and then installed installed drivers and the game with a mild success as in it ran only once and only for about 5 minutes and then stopped working again and back to the same problem. So I decided to format the drive and redo everything, it ended up doing the same thing. Now the only difference between when it was working and now was maybe the version of Windows that was initially installed, when I had no issues with the game it was from the base version or 22h2 version and this last time it was 25h2 but that shouldn't make a difference if the game requires Windows to be updated I would think initially but I could be way wrong on this.
But this response is now due to an email I received asking me to run some more steps.
- Remove and reinstall anti-cheat as admin: This was done and system rebooted before testing again with no effect on game, still crashes with same event id of 7034 in event viewer.
- Disable conflicting software: There should not be any as there was only drivers, widows updates and EA and it still has the same issue but I did stop any startup that I have installed since I reinstalled Windows and I don't have my usual software running which did work with the game before all of this started.
- Run a clean boot: Well the problem here is that a true clean boot also prevents the EA app from launching and vice versa the game as well so it had to be modified to allow for the EA app to run and it still did not resolve the issue.
- Repair Windows system files with the commands SFC /SCANNOW and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth: These commands completed with nothing detected wrong or nothing to fix
- Reinstall GPU drivers: The GPU driver are the latest and have not been updated since last install but I did do a clean install again anyways just to try it to see if it had any effect but no go.
Now a week ago, I decided to remove and reinstall the game, I was able to get into the game for about two to three minutes and then I quit out to install the multiplayer part but on accident I launched the game again, it now failed again just as before with the re-install of the game.
Any help would be nice.
I have also gathered dxdiag before and after the steps above.
