My son is having a nightmare with his gun disappearing and textures going flat mid game , this has been going on for a while now . It seems worse on certain maps , he has tried unlimiting shader cache and a load of other things. Please if you have any suggestions ?
He has a strong pc and the game runs at about 240 fps
One thing of note , his game will black screen at the end of the game that's been affected , it only happens on Manhattan , Empire State , Eastwood and Contaminated
Same thing is happening to me too dont know why !!!
This is still an issue from Season 1 - obviously wasn't address in the new update.
This happened to me twice last night in consecutive maps, and also a friend of mine once in the same map.
I've started experiencing this since the season 2 update
Exact same issues I have. It happens a lot on Contaminated. I will play breakthrough and about half way through the map my Gun and Scope are gone. Usually happens in the 3rd or 4th zone. Also, I get the black screen hang either between matches after matchmaking has found the next round, or if I quit to menu after the round. Both issues have gotten WAY worse since season 2 came out. I have cleared the Shader Cache and the BF6 Cache. No change.
Really Frustrated.
Has happened again this morning on the Eastwood map (Conquest)
Came good after about 5minutes once i got revived, then 5mins later it disappeared again.
This from what I can see is a pretty common issue
Seriously how can DICE regard themselves as a triple A games company when stuff like this is going on and not being dealt with , as per norm silence is deafening
I have the exact same issue, in season 1 i just got really bad memory leak and fps halving at the end of matches, setting textures to low helped, but now with the contaminated map, after the 3rd-4th zone all guns and gadgets gone, even when changing class or picking up a kit from the ground, map textures not loading, player models looking low-poly and not loading. My system is i5-14400f 16gb ram rtx 4060, I'm not expecting ultra 120fps 2k resolution, but I believe it should handle the game on low settings with DLSS Quality. When I have this issue I have to Alt+F4 to exit the game, or I'm stuck at a black screen.
Having this issue since Season 2 update, I already raised a topic for this. I can see a lot of people is having this not just me.
I had zero issues before but since the update its just unplayable. I reinstalled everything, even did a DDU VGA clean install, deleted cache shaders, updated BIOS etc. Nothing works
