How to change matchmaking region. (From South Africa to Europe)

Really enjoying the game. Playing from South Africa. We have quite a strong community here, but the matchmaking is quite bad at the moment.

Only conquest and breakthrough have some players, but then 80% is bots. I am almost enitrely convinced that we should have enough players to fill a lot of games.

My best current option is to search on portal for someone hosting a normal server for me to play with actual players, which I don't always find. This is quite sad and I can't actually play the game at much as I want to.

On Battlefield V it was easy (and still is) to find an official server in the server browser, on a Euopean or American server, and I get about 150 ping which is totally playable.

Is there anyway for me to matchmake in the European or other regions so that I can actually find a game?

Are there plans to add an official server browser (outside of portal) in the future?

Hey bro! Same question and gripe. The matchmaking is silly. In all the other bf’s I could comfortably play at 150ping. I still play bf4/1/5 with that ping and do my part. Enjoying bf6 so far bu I keep getting bot matches. In the beta we had full matches, but now its bots mostly. I did not spend R1300 for bot matches.

Same here. Love the game, but the bot matches are ruining it for me and my friends.

This issue is so frustrating. Even after finding a mostly populated official server, the game will split players into separate lobbies at the end of the match. So you end up with a match full of bots once more.

Update: can’t change region and not sure if vpn is allowed, but portal has some solid conquest matches. I joined one last night after prayer service, and man the match (148 ping) was full of South Africans😂

I don't dare use a VPN, and even setting the EA account to France makes no difference. I still end up playing in South Africa while on Reunion Island.
Community servers are our only solution when we find them with standard multiplayer stats. We can't even add them to favorites; it's really tedious! Please comment if you're in the same situation. The more of us who report this problem, the more likely we are to get them to do something for us!
