i9 - 14900K Crash Fix

This was the last thing I tried and it worked.

I saw others mention dropping the core down on the CPU but wasn't that keen on doing that, but it worked. I've played multiple games now for several hours with no crash at all.

I installed Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and changed the first option (Core) from 57 to 54.

You don't see any difference in performance at all, and the CPU is powerful anyway that dropping a little bit is worth it.

It may work for you, and it also may work for 12 and 13 series too.

If this is happening to you, you need to RMA your CPU ASAP as it's degraded.

That's what crossed my mind too. I bought it brand new about 18 months ago. Not good!
