For everyone using the ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING motherboard with an Intel Core i7-6700K processor:
If you need TPM 2.0, this motherboard has a dedicated 14-1 pin TPM header. The TPM module is not built into the motherboard and must be purchased separately.
The recommended module is:
ASUS TPM-M R2.0 — 14-1 pin, LPC, TPM 2.0
Important: Make sure you purchase the TPM-M / LPC version, not TPM-SPI, as they have different pinouts and are not interchangeable.

I have attached two pictures so you can clearly see what the module looks like and where it is installed on the motherboard.
The module is installed directly into the TPM connector on the motherboard.
