When on the same internet connection, my wife and I both play pc on steam.
Ports are opened on the router for all normal steam ports.
When inviting her, she shows up in my lobby, shows at the lobby screen standing there, I hit find match, it pops up for her I started match making.
Our characters will stand up like were going in.
Then one of us one connect at all while the other gets in game.

When my wife and I try to queue for a match only one of us gets put into a match. Whoever is NOT host gets put into a match. The host will then be infinitely in a queue, or we must disband the party and play separate matches which ruins the fun. We get no error codes or anything. Even if someone starts a match alone, the other cannot join. Any help would be appreciated.
We were also unable to play with our friend in another state. Same exact issue and he is also through Steam.
Note: We both launch the game through Steam. Clearing the cache on the EA App does nothing to resolve or even help this issue
Having the same issue here with someone in my household. We tried qing with friends and can never boot into the same match.

When we are in a party it seems that someone in our party doesnt load into the same match. how do we fix this so everyone in our party can play together.

Same, mostly the party leader, has not worked once. PC steam to PC steam
I am having consistant issues with loading into matches with my party. For some reason when I start run the client and join a party, our first match goes off without a hitch. Everytime we go to start the next match, my party goes into the game and I'm stuck in the loading screen. I can still hear them, but I don't load into the game. I literally have to close out and requeue. Need assist in figuring out if this is a me thing or a known issue.
Yeah I'm experiencing the same thing. Cant join games when in a squad though the rest of my squad loads in. I've tried swapping who the squad leader is, this still gets me stuck in the main menu. I'm not sure how to resolve this currently.
Edit: Having your squad join a game and then joining them through steam seems to work. Only downside is the match will probably be full and you have to sit out the first 5 minutes of the match and hope someone leaves the game.
Yeah, unfortunately, I'm running on the EA engine. Kind of wishing I did go with steam, none of my buddies there seem to be having problems..

My brother and I are unable to consistently join the same match when playing Battlefield 6 together. After creating a party and starting a game, only one of us successfully joins the match while the other remains in the lobby screen (character standing idle).
We are both playing from the same household on the same internet connection. There doesn’t appear to be a consistent pattern as to which player connects successfully — sometimes one of us gets in, sometimes the other.
Occasionally, we have been able to play a match together if one player stays in the lobby and joins the other’s session after matchmaking begins, but this only works sporadically.
Troubleshooting Performed:
Verified both systems have Open NAT
Enabled and disabled UPnP for testing
Manually forwarded all required ports
Split port forwarding between the two PCs
Checked for Double NAT (none detected)
Despite these steps, the issue persists.
Having the same issue playing on the same household wifi with someone else. We can play in separate parties or solo fine, but only one of us will join when we are in the same party. Very frustrating and cannot find a fix.

Experiencing the same on Xbox. When we do get it, 99% of the time someone will not get into the following game after the initial one ends too.

When the party leader starts a match, one or more persons will not be placed in the match, or even will be in different matches. This has happened while joining lobby before match and when joining during the match. We tried changing party leaders and restarting games with no effect.
So this has happened a lot to me but when matchmaking with a party and we find a match, my character will stand up and nothing happens however most of the time all the other people in the party will be in the match this will leave me with having to wait for the game to have a spot or my friends will have to leave
Same on PS5. Dude stands up, BF logo shows and it returns you to the menu?

A queue with a party of 2 to 4 people, we are able to get one to two games in, after which the party leader is loaded into the next game, but the rest of the party is told “ waiting for party later”. Thought it was hosted air so he switched up the host. Same thing happened with different host. It is only fixed after the entire party starts the game, but the problem persists after another game or two
So when you finish a game with your party of friends, the leader loads onto a new game whilst others are stuck at the game report for the previous game

I had the same issue. The squad leader queued up for a game, i saw the notification for it. But only the other 3 in my squad joined the game, and i didn't join. Then i had to go into the party list and right click the party leader and select "join game" and hope that a spot opens up for me (someone else leaves)
Having this issue as well and cannot find a fix. $70 and cannot play with partner since we are on the same wifi. They need to fix this asap
