When me and my roommate try hoping into a lobby together, one of us gets timed out kicked for inactivity.
if we play separately then everything is dandy . also if one of us connects to a hotspot then we are able to play together.
we are using the T-Mobile home internet (there is no ISP where we stay).

You are both showing the same external IP, which isn't going to work so well. You can use a VPN, get a static IP, or try configuring UPnP (can't say if UPnP will work).

There is always an ISP. It's whoever is providing you internet service. T-Mobile in your case.

Turn on UPnP in your router so your router sets a static IP address for each device (or you could leave UPnP off and set the static IP addresses manually.)

You can only set static IPs for the addresses on the LAN, which won't do any good. ISP needs to provide external static IPs.

I (1) cannot join my roommates (2) game. We are on the same network. We have a third (3) friend on a different network. We can all be in the same party, but when 1 or 2 try to join the other's game, nothing happens. We are put in "queue," which, frankly, is imaginary, because I can see that the game is 64/64, so I will never be able to join. 1 can play with 3, and 2 can play with 3, regardless of who joins who. But we have never been able to get 1 and 2 in the same game. Most of the time, it will throw one person into a game and the other will be stuck in the main menu. Joining the party while the other is in-match does nothing, and joining the game results in an imaginary queue.

Bought myself and my brother who both live in the same house copies of BF6 through Steam. When we try to party together and join a match at the same time, with friends too, one of us is always left in the menus while the other joins the map. He uses WiFi. I use Ethernet. When he uses a VPN, we are able to play together, but I experience a ton of lag. UPnP is enabled. I just want to play with my brother, please help!
