MENA Players Are Being Left Behind – 120ms Ping After Having 20–30ms

Battlefield 6 MENA Players' Concerns

I honestly don’t know what happened, but Battlefield 6 has become almost unplayable for me and a lot of other MENA players.

This has been going on for months now. MENA players have been reporting this issue since at least June, and we still haven't received a proper explanation or update from EA.

When we first started playing from the UAE, we were getting around 20–30ms ping. The game felt great. Gunfights felt responsive, movement felt normal, and we were actually having fun.

Now, many of us are constantly getting around 100–120ms, and some players are reporting even higher ping.

In a game like Battlefield, that makes a huge difference. We are losing gunfights because of the delay, dying after we already feel like we moved or shot, and the whole game just feels frustrating.

I can't even play a full match and enjoy it anymore.

What makes this even worse is that MENA players have been reporting this on the EA Forums again and again.

We've been talking about it for months.

But from EA/Battlefield? No proper announcement. No explanation. No update. Nothing.

This is honestly the most frustrating part.

We are not asking for special treatment. We just want to play the game we paid for with a reasonable connection.

We were getting 20–30ms before. Now we're getting around 100–120ms. Same region, same players, and in many cases the same internet connections.

So please don't just tell us to restart our routers or check our internet.

Something has clearly changed with server availability, matchmaking, routing, or server selection.

There are a lot of Battlefield players in the UAE and across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and the rest of MENA who genuinely love Battlefield and want to play this game.

But right now it honestly feels like we've been forgotten.

We Need Some Answers:

  • What happened to the 20–30ms servers we were playing on?
  • Are the Middle East servers currently working as intended?
  • Has anything changed with matchmaking or server selection?
  • Is the Battlefield team investigating the high ping MENA players have been reporting since June?
  • Why are many MENA players being placed into European servers with 90–120ms+ ping?
  • If this is a known issue, why hasn't EA made a proper announcement?
  • When can we expect an actual fix or at least an update?

Please, EA, just acknowledge the problem.

We don't need another generic troubleshooting reply. Many of us were playing perfectly fine before this started.

This isn't a problem that appeared yesterday. We've been reporting it for months.

We bought Battlefield 6 because we love Battlefield. We want to keep playing it.

But it's really disappointing to spend money on a game and then feel like an entire region of paying customers is being ignored.

MENA players are here. We support Battlefield. We want to play Battlefield.

We just want EA to listen to us and tell us what is actually happening.

Please give us an update.

Don't leave MENA behind.
