Multiplayer in BF6 cuts back to main screen as soon as matchmaking occurs.

I  had this issue and my game only worked when using a vpn (set to my own region) Forwarding the ports for BF6 worked for me.

I'm on PC btw.

I managed to play a little this morning, couple hours and found a semi fix (PS5) 

• start game, and try to join. Inevitable black screen and battlefield, returned to main menu
• Go to home on PS5 (whilst bf is still running) 
• press start on battlefield and restore licences 
• battlefield will close, once licenses restored start game and join multiplayer

this worked for me this morning, however this afternoon it’s stopped working and even with the above fix it hasn’t worked. Clearly there is an issue EA’s end and it’s not us.

Yeah a VPN worked for me. I also restarted my router and I am 1 for 1 in successful games so far without VPN

I unplugged my router for 5 mins and have been able to play since 

This is a big issue 

Constant going back to black start screen when truing to matchmake. When i check players recently met it thinks i have joined a lobby but i cant join a game. Had problems for the last week. Randomly lets me pkay mulitplayer. Tried restoring licenses, restarting ps5, trning internet on/off and toggling cross play but no obvious fix. Snd zero help online. Please fix EA as this is game-breaking... 

This also ended up working for me. 

After trying literally everything else for pc, the only thing that ended up working for me was resetting the router. It has since worked without issue for the last 3 days. 

Having this issue on PS5 with portal.
