Regarding Gemini’s recommendation, it is not entirely accurate. On certain motherboard models, the integrated GPU (iGPU) must be enabled in the BIOS to prevent system crashes. Regarding the USB stick, it can be empty—the crucial factor is that it is connected to the rear USB port on the motherboard, specifically the one used for BIOS updates. This configuration can also help prevent crashes after approximately 17–15 minutes of gameplay. It should be noted that these workarounds may vary depending on the motherboard manufacturer. In my experience, using an MSI motherboard, the crash can be resolved by inserting the USB stick while keeping the iGPU disabled. According to some users—since neither EA nor DICE has issued an official statement—this issue appears to stem from a conflict between the game’s anti-cheat system and kernel-level services. While these explanations remain speculative, these solutions have proven effective for now, pending an official patch from EA.
Did try this two things you recommended. But pc again freezes after about 10-15 min in the middle of the game.
I have 3 usb-c contacts on the back. Does it matter in witch of them I put the usb-c disk into? Tok the one in the middle of them, because i have been updating bios with that plug before.
Also changed to iGPU like you told.

If system instability or crashes persist even after applying the updates released on May 5, connect a USB flash drive to the system. The drive may already contain data—this will not affect the procedure—but it must be inserted into a rear I/O USB port directly on the motherboard, as illustrated in the attached image. Afterward, attempt to launch and run the game again to verify system stability.
As an alternative, you may enable the integrated GPU (iGPU) via BIOS/UEFI settings. However, the effectiveness of this approach can vary depending on the specific motherboard model, particularly across MSI and ASUS platforms.

Hi again,
I used the link from another forum post and followed the instructions yesterday. But didn't have time to play then.
PC freezing after 10 minutes of playing since 4/16 | EA Forums - 13337729
Tried today, but it did still freeze.
Then i saw your post and found another flash drive with USB-A and put it into the USB port on the picture you linked too.
So now i have been playing two rounds, from 18.44 to 19.20. That is double the time i ever have done. Two hole rounds.
So i think that it might be the Bios USB flash port that made it happen, after trying for so long.
EA_Salmon Thanks for your respond, think this greatfull help from XxSerpico074xX was the solution for me.
Will keep posting if it starts freezing again :D- EA_Salmon8 days ago
